At some point, everyone has dreamed about owning a luxurious
yacht. They’ve imagined what it would be like having an attractive, majestic
sea vessel that turns heads as it pulls into port. A boat that epitomizes
luxury with its style, its high-quality craftsmanship, comfortable layout and
amenities galore.
If you’re ready to make that dream a reality, visit the
Greenwich Boat Show on April 11 and 12 on the Mianus River in Cos Cob. The
Greenwich Boat Show is a favorite among Northeast boaters, who are invited to
walk along the docks and test out new boats on the open waters of Long Island
Sound. The show has long been known for its impressive variety of powerboats,
and this year’s show will feature the largest collection of dealers and boats
yet.
Among the show’s variety of boats will be many high-end,
luxury vessels. Models from Chris Craft, which has long set the boating
standard for beauty, performance and craftsmanship, will be available, as will
innovative, stylish luxury yachts from Tiara. Boats from Hinckley boast
fuel-efficient jet propulsion and a shallow draft that makes navigating easy.
But it is Hinckley’s beautiful lines steeped in Maine’s maritime heritage that are
sure to make boaters take notice. Southport Boats, high-end sportfishing boats
that are among the best center console boats around, will be at the show.
Boaters will also get the chance to tour and test gorgeous and comfortable
boats from Back Cove Yachts and uniquely-designed, high-performance vessels
from Hunt Yachts. Large, impressive vessels from Azimut Yachts, with their
Italian styling and attention to detail, are also sure to get plenty of
attention.
New to the show this year will be boats from Vanquish,
Hacker-Craft and MJM Yachts. Combining time-tested classic designs with
cutting-edge materials and technology, Vanquish offers attractive 24 and 26
center consoles, a 26 dual console and a 24 runabout. The stunning mahogany
design of Hacker-Craft boats is sure to turn heads in any port. Boaters will
also be impressed with the 36z and 40z models from MJM Yachts, some of the most
technologically-advanced powerboats available.
Of course, luxury vessels are
just the tip of the iceberg at the Greenwich Boat Show. Besides luxury vessels,
the Greenwich Boat Show will feature a variety of other styles, including fishing,
cruising and family boats. To make sure you get to try out the boat you want,
show organizers recommend attendees visit the show’s website to schedule
sea-trials in advance. www.greenwichboatshow.com.
